Choir School
This Wednesday evening program provides classes for children and youth in Plymouth’s musical and fine arts tradition. It offers opportunities to participate in vocal and bell choirs, all of which participate in Sunday morning worship services throughout the program year. Contact Jo to register.
Choir: Elizabeth Egger leads the Cherub Choir (kindergarten through 2nd grade and the Chorister Choir (3rd through 6th grade). Mary Laymon leads the youth choir (7th through 12th grade).

Handbells: Cammy Carteng leads the Early Bells (3rd–4th grades), Bells Jubilee (5th–6th grades) and Coventry Ringer (7th–12th grades) handbell choirs.
Dance: Carole Humphrey choreographs movement for the Genesis Dancers (kindergarten-2nd grade) and the Alleluia Dancers (3rd through 12th grades).
Young Voices: Kristen Froebel leads a non-performance music experience for ages 3-5 years.
Youth Choir: This choir, for youth in grades 7 through 12, sings choral pieces ranging from folk hymns and spirituals to contemporary pieces, in languages including Spanish, Latin, Hebrew and Nguni. To join, a music background is helpful, but not required; love of singing is essential. They rehearse every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and perform in the sanctuary five or six times a year. Mary Laymon is the director. They go on retreat with a guest director every fall.
